Bloemfontein’s Cars in the Park will take place this year 10 August.
And those living in the surrounding areas most specifically the Clarens community can come out in full support of the event, which is a highlight on the Free State Veteran Car Club (FSVCC) Calendar, as Bloemfontein is easily accessible and only a three hours’ drive from the small town of Clarens.
Become one of the vast spectators at the show and come and see displays of veteran, vintage, classic, cars and motorcycles, which some are owned by the members of the FSVCC. Dream trains will also exhibit the largest mobile layout in South Africa, 6m by 6m. It will be priceless pieces of machinery from a bygone era that have been lovingly restored to their former glory.
The event promises to be nothing more than a fun-filled day. Therefore bring the entire family and let your kids experience an old world of motor vehicles from back in the day when you were young or even get surprised yourself with a few vintage rides you have never seen before.
The display of cars can include ‘American muscle’, Chevrolet Chevy Nova and a 1965 coupe Ford Mustang and many others.
There will be snacks and beverages to fill up your stomachs and help you gain more energy as you get back to browsing the many cars in the classic exhibition.
Gates will open from 8am and the venue for the show will be at Bobbiespark, Hannah Street, and Fichardtpark.
