Founded in 1976, Apple is leading technology company which designs, develops and sells consumer electronics. The company is renowned for pioneering a range of sleek, seamless technological gadgets as well as for transforming the cellular industry with the introduction of the iPhone.
It has also made history by becoming the first company worth $800 billion.
In addition to its range of i Phones, i Mac and iPad products, the company also recently announced wireless keyboards as an addition to its product range.
Priced at $129 in the United States, the wired version has been discontinued.
The magic keyboard has a numeric keypad, full-size arrow keys for gaming, as well as a lightning port with a built-in, rechargeable battery that lasts for a month. It also comes with a lightning cable in the retail box.
The keyboard also features changes in the sizes of certain keys that allow for better typing.
Compatible with the Mac OS 10, 12, 14 or above and iOS 10.3 or above, the wireless keyboards from Apple also feature document navigation controls that allow for quick scrolling.
Why offer wireless keyboards?
According to Apple, the “scissor mechanism beneath each key allows for increased stability, while optimized key travel and a low profile provide a comfortable and precise typing experience”.
For many Apple users having access to wireless keyboards offers the benefit of having a clutter-free working environment. Users no longer have to worry about having too many cables in the way. The extended layout also makes typing more convenient for users, while the numeric keypad allows for easy access.
There is no need to worry about battery life, as the rechargeable battery lasts for up to a month in between charges.
Travelling with your Mac PC is no longer a hassle with the wireless keyboard.
