Blackberry, a Canadian telecommunication and wireless equipment company has launched its BlackBerry Classic version with local mobile network companies Vodacom, MTN and Cell C. The development was a response to a BlackBerry who called for the return of the mobile phone’s trackpad, and hardware action buttons (Call, Menu, back and cancel/Disconnect).
The new BlackBerry Classic is related to the smartphone maker’s other modern devices with hardware keyboards (Q5, Q10).
News pertaining to the launch of this device was first made at Mobile World Congress in February 2014.
Just like other BlackBerry devices, Classic version will feature both BlackBerry App World and the Amazon Appstore.
The device has the following features:

- 16GB memory
- The version works with GSM Carriers only; bands
- The device requires nano SIM card
