The latest gaming craze, Pokémon Go has everyone on their feet. The game allows players to catch Pikachu’s friends in various locations around the world. This could be anywhere from the middle of the road to the beachfront or a local park.
Using augmented reality (AR) the game allows players to enjoy integration with real life locations.
Every Pokémon has a common base but their individual stats ascertain how strong they are. A Pokémon’s health stats have a big impact on the game.
With the previous edition of the game, trainers were unable to check the Pokémon Go stats in the game and had to take help from some third party apps. The Japanese company made an about-turn and invested resources into Pokémon Go’s new update.
The new “Pokémon Appraisal” feature now allows the players to control the attack and defensive capabilities of their Pokémon.
As a result, trainers will now be able to learn about a Pokémon’s attack and defence capabilities from their team leader to determine which of their Pokémon have the most potential for battle.
Normal stats you can view include:
- CP (combat power)
- HP (hit points)
With the new feature, your team leader will appraise three “secret” stats: your Pokémon’s stamina, defence and attack.
Phrases used by your team leader will vary, but overall, your team leader will give you an overall assessment about your Pokémon, tell you its strongest stats and how the other two stats match up. You can then make the best use of these stats to pick your battles.
The best way to think of Pokémon Go’s new update is of a feature that is primarily designed to help you figure out which of your Pokémon are worth investing Stardust and Candy into for levelling and evolution.
