Not only mobile network providers are lending mobile gadgets to their customers but rather banks have introduced mobile devices in their lending facility. One of South Africa’s big four banks First National Bank, well known as FNB, launched the iPad Mini Retina Wi-Fi and Cellular to its state of the art mobile devices.
According to FNB, this lending initiative will allow people who can’t afford to purchase the gadget at its full cost to pay for it over a specified period of 24 months. Interesting to note is that though the device is repaid in installments, no interest is charged during this period.
The iPad Mini with Retina is not the first device to be launched using this facility by FNB but the bank already has other devices such as high end smartphones to the Xbox video game console. The iPad Mini Retina offer has a black iPad cover, screen protector and a R100 iStore voucher.
The model is available in grey and silver colors. The bank has the following gadgets in stock: iPad mini Retina Wi-Fi & Cellular 16GB for R299/month, ipad Mini Retina Wi-Fi & Cellular 32GB R355/month, iPad Mini retina Wi-Fi & Cellular 64GB R405/month, iPad Mini Retina Wi-Fi & Cellular 128GB R459/month.
