The Huawei Mate 9, the latest release from the Chinese manufacturer has been described by TechRadar as a “Phablet built to last”.

With an impressive camera, powerful processor and great battery life the Huawei Mate 9 has a strong processor that allows the device to get faster over time. Through the Machine Learning Algorithm, the Mate 9 adapts to the way you use your device.

With dual-SIM capabilities, the Mate 9 is also one of the world’s first Daydream-ready phones.

With this offering, Huawei, the world’s third-biggest phone manufacturer stands a chance to grow a strong market in the US market. Following the debacle surrounding Samsung’s S7, the Mate 9’s good quality stands a great chance of achieving this.

What to expect from the Huawei Mate 9:

The device comes with a 4000mAh battery, which has long battery life.

The cameras are quite impressive too. The 20MP and 12 MP RGB camera can reproduce effects usually seen on DSLR cameras.

Users will also have the option for changing the size of images and characters throughout the interface.

The phone’s SuperCharge technology also means that users don’t have to worry about lengthy charging periods.

As is standard with more smart devices nowadays, the Huawei Mate 9 has a circular fingerprint sensor that sits on the rear of the device.

Available in an array of colours, including gold, pink, black, silver and white, the Mate 9 comes with a 1080p screen and is quite heavy at 190 grams.

The 5.9 inch device is made out of metal and has a headphone jack located at the top. Featuring a sleek, premium look, the Huawei Mate 9 introduces the Kirin 960 octa-core processor, which comes close to Snapdragon 821 devices.
