A call to all bargain hunters
Look forward to the NG Kerk Flea Market 13 December, a regular fixture on the small town of Clarens event calendar. The market will open from 8am and is hosted by the Clarens Tourism Forum. The first flea market already happened earlier this year 27 April.
Expect various stalls exhibiting their products to the public for viewing or purchase by the NG Kerk, a Dutch reformed church in the area of Clarens. At the Village Square dotted with its many art galleries representative of the rich artistic heritage the small town is known for.
The village Square is always a hive of activity so come out with your family or friends to socialise and view what will be exhibited together at the flea market.
The Clarens Tourism Forum (CTF) was established in March 2011. It is a non-profit body that was formed with the purpose of collectively marketing and showcasing the Tourism experiences of Clarens and its members along the valley of Thabo Mofutsanyane DM.
So hit the streets to this market and you might find some original items to shop for that can be of a real bargain because ‘another man’s trash is another man’s treasure’.
Most popular items found at flea markets are second hand books, old record vinyl’s, accessories of beaded jewellery, hand-made arts and crafts and clothes.
