Woolworths credit card holders are given up to 55 days’ interest free credit. It helps to pay more than the minimum monthly repayments on your credit cards and store cards as this will save on interest rates.
According to Woolworths, individual interest rates charged are available on card holders’ monthly statements.
In recent news, there have been new proposed limits gazetted in 2015. The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) proposes slashing interest rates charged on credit cards. This is the first review of legal rates and fees since 2007.
The proposed changes are for interest rates to drop from the current maximum of 22.65% to 19.8%.
